International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.

International Women's Day first emerged from the activities of labour movements at the turn of the twentieth century in North America and across Europe.

St Clare's traditionally celebrates International Women's Day each year with a short prayer and reminder of its significance, followed by some lovely cup cakes for morning tea.

An added bonus this year was when Mandy. one of our fabulous Fairy Godmothers, gave a short talk on the importance of women living their dreams and becoming who they really can be.

St Clare's Community celebrates and supports all our students as they strive to achieve all their goals.
